Great minds think alike.

ITeC Academy, born from the merger of IRT Academy and Illawarra ITeC, represents a union of two esteemed institutions with a shared vision for education and workforce development. Established to meet the evolving needs of industries such as aged care, construction, trades, entertainment, and hospitality, ITeC Academy is committed to fostering sustainable career pathways through quality training and education.

Our History and Vision
With roots tracing back to its founding in 1988, Illawarra ITeC had established itself as a prominent provider of accredited training across New South Wales, particularly in the Illawarra region. As a not-for-profit organisation, it served a diverse range of clients, including businesses, government agencies, disadvantaged job seekers, youth at risk, individuals with disabilities, and Indigenous communities.

IRT Academy, renowned for its expertise in aged care training, has brought specialised knowledge and nationally recognised qualifications to our new entity. This merger combines the strengths of both organisations, creating a powerhouse Registered Training Organisation (RTO) capable of scaling rapidly to meet industry demands.

Our Focus on the Future
ITeC Academy is dedicated to equipping individuals with the skills that lead to meaningful employment and sustainable careers. Our comprehensive training programs are designed to meet the needs of high-growth industries, ensuring our students are well-prepared to excel in their chosen fields.

Our mission is clear: to deliver high-quality training services that empower our students to embark on and advance in robust careers within strong industries. By partnering with schools, community organisations, and industry leaders, we aim to cultivate a skilled workforce that drives economic growth and enhances social outcomes across Australia.

At ITeC Academy, we are committed to building on our legacy of excellence, innovation, and community service. Join us as we pave the way for a brighter future through education and skills development.
