ITeC Academy’s FREE Business Connections Club continues to empower and connect local professionals and entrepreneurs, with its latest event drawing a dynamic crowd eager to learn from industry experts.

Held on 8 April at the ITeC Academy Theatre, the event featured keynote speaker Natasha Panetta, founder of Busy Goddess Marketing Co, who delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on “The Power of Authentic Personal and Business Branding.” Natasha emphasised the vital role branding plays in today’s competitive landscape, reminding attendees that, “Whether you’re a sole trader or running a company, branding shapes how others see you — and can ultimately make or break your business.”

Her talk was both inspiring and practical, encouraging business owners to embrace authenticity as a powerful tool to connect with their audience and stand out in their industries. Her message resonated deeply with attendees, many of whom walked away with fresh ideas and renewed confidence in their brand’s story.

Adding further value to the event was Ryan Cook, Business Liaison Officer from Wollongong City Council, who presented an overview of the upcoming 2025 Wollongong Investment Prospectus: Grow Smarter, Choose Wollongong. Ryan’s presentation highlighted Wollongong’s growth potential and investment readiness, reinforcing the region’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and smart business development.

The Business Connections Club continues to be a hub for collaboration and insight, supporting the professional growth of its members and driving forward Wollongong’s vibrant business community.
