This WHS training course will help you:
- Take your leadership skills from team member to workplace supervisor.
- Understand Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities to improve consultation and participation.
- Improve your knowledge for a safe workplace and to comply with all the relevant WHS regulations.

Compliance and Laws
In this course you will learn to assist with establishing and maintaining workplace compliance, implement and maintain WHS consultation practices and processes, identify applicable WHS laws, duties, rights and obligations in the workplace.
Risk Assessment and Management
Learn how to contribute to WHS risk management including identifying work health and safety (WHS) hazards and assessing and controlling the risk relating to those identified hazards and contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of risk controls according to legislative and organisational requirements.
Lead Teams
You will learn to identify and implement ways of promoting innovation within team environments in the workplace by modelling high standards of conduct to reflect the organisation’s standards and values.

Entry Requirements
• Currently working in a role where access to safety related policies and procedures are available.
• Sound internet knowledge and ready access to the internet.
• Able to use a computer and have sound digital literacy skills.
• Reading and writing skills to answer assessment questions.
• Has own computer/device compatible to course requirements.
