SITXFSA005 – Use hygienic practices for food safety

Advance your Career by Learning Food Safety and Hospitality Skills

ITeC’s Basic Food Handler course is for people handling food in cafés, restaurants, canteens, hotels, supermarkets, fast food outlets, sandwich shops, catering operations or other food retail outlets, under supervision.

In this course students will learn how to identify and control hazards, prevent contamination that may lead to food borne illnesses and accurately report on food contamination incidents and hygiene hazards.

A step towards Hospitality Management in the Kitchen

In this course students will learn how to identify and control hazards, prevent contamination that may lead to food borne illnesses and accurately report on contamination incidents and hygiene hazards.

This course covers safe egg handling, allergen management, cleaning and sanitising required modules and also includes the new Official NSW Food Authority COVID-19 Food Safety Supervisor Training Module.

Beginners Barista Workshop

Espresso Coffee Making Course (non-accredited)

Experience the world of coffee like never before in our 3hr Barista Workshop in Wollongong. This immersive barista course is designed to provide you with hands-on training using a commercial coffee machine, enabling you to learn how to create the most common coffee styles in the industry today. Undertaking this course helps you develop skills for your first job in a cafe or coffee related business.
