Orlando, a dedicated trainee from Shoalhaven Garage Doors, has completed his Certificate II in Construction Pathways with ITeC Academy. Starting in January 2024, Orlando embarked on this journey as part of his traineeship, combining hands-on work with theoretical learning over the course of 12 months.
Throughout his traineeship, Orlando worked diligently on completing all the required units of competency, and with the guidance of his trainer, Rick, he participated in monthly site visits where practical assessments took place. These assessments ensured Orlando gained not only the necessary skills but also the real-world experience to thrive in the construction industry.
The team at Shoalhaven Garage Doors, including management, were very pleased with Orlando’s hard work and progress throughout the program. Melissa, a key member of the management team, mentioned that they were so impressed with Orlando’s success that they are considering offering another traineeship in the near future.
